Trial Underway For Cashless Fruit Machines
We’re currently working with Game Payment Technology to trial their mobile phone app which allows players to use an e-wallet to credit fruit machines.
We now have the system installed in two venues in Newcastle and are gathering both quantitative and qualitative feedback. As predicted take up has initially been slow however customer response to the app has all been positive.
With less and less people carrying cash these days a cashless solution is necessary to ensure the longevity of machines in pubs and bars.
Clear Cool Eat Out To Help Out Packages Extend To Takeaway Only Option
As soon as the government announced their plans for the Eat Out To Help Out scheme our Clear Cool team got their heads together to develop specific product packages to assist our customers. Focussing on either a simple snack menu or a pizza package Clear Cool offered customers catering products on a discounted rental package to encourage them to make the most of the scheme.
Although the scheme has now come to an end, we are still offering these packages to help those who may find themselves in a local lockdown and are only able to offer takeaway food to generate income.
- Pizza Package – sell just 3 pizzas a week to cover costs

- Snack Meal Package – sell just 8 meals a week to cover costs
- Includes CIBO oven and under counter freezer

Socially Distanced Quizzing!
Innstay’s onscreen entertainment systems have really come in to their own over the past few months as they have the ability to run a quiz by displaying questions on TV screens around a venue.
We have had a number of customers who have been able to resume their regular quiz nights whilst adhering to low volume levels and entertainment restrictions.
Our entertainment systems can generate hundreds of quizzes that are displayed on screen for your customers to view the questions across your venue. During the current situation it is the perfect alternative to having a quiz host shouting out questions across the bar.
Each system also has the ability to run on screen games such as bingo, key to the box and hi lo cards.
