New Head of Gaming & Operations

Simon Broadbent - Head of Gaming & Operations Bob Rudd

We would like to take this opportunity to welcome Simon Broadbent as our new Head of Gaming & Operations for Bob Rudd. Simon has worked in the industry for many years and we look forward to using his knowledge to further cement our operation in the marketplace. We asked Simon a little bit about himself and his plans for the year ahead…

Why did you decide to take the role at Bob Rudd?

The challenge of such an integral role to the business in a fast paced and dynamic industry really appealed to me but, importantly, I also genuinely believe that Bob Rudd’s whole ethos is the right one in terms of accessing and providing a diverse range of products for our customers. The brand is synonymous with giving them freedom of choice and the best machines in the marketplace rather than a strategy that relies on vertical integration and which stifles variety.

What is your main focus for 2020?

My main focus for 2020 is really working hard on leading and helping support what is already a very talented team at Bob Rudd and focussing on driving the business forward by further strengthening our portfolio and our relationships with customers and in turn our position in the marketplace.

Simon is a long suffering Leeds Utd fan and is married with 2 children – one 13 year old and one 3 year old (going on 21!).

Grow Income by an Average of £500 Per Week!

Over the last few weeks our customer support team have been contacting customers to generate a picture of how Innstay’s Entertainment Systems have helped grow their weekly income.

Each site reported increases in income of anything from £200-£1500!

The biggest cash generators were:

– Key to the Box

– On screen quiz

– Horse racing nights

Innfinite system - hi lo cards
Innfinite system games

All of these are featured on our entertainment systems and allow sites to generate income through both ticket sales and increased wet & dry sales too.

As well as the sales generated, the system allows the site to cut costs on expensive items such as horse racing packages and quiz hosts.

It is also pleasing that a number of sites have become well known in their communities for offering large prize pots for their games nights with one venue mentioning that they had given over £10,000 worth of prizes since installing the system.
